Comfort Guidelines, Contract and Conditions

Your privacy and personal information is just as important to us as it is to you. We never share your personal information, except when registering your new puppy with the AKC and AKC Reunite per policy.

We recommend puppies transition to their new families at 10 weeks old so they have all their shots and are safe to go to the park upon pickup. If you choose to take your puppy at eight weeks, we ask that you either provide us with your vet's contact information and date and time of your scheduled vet appointment within seven days of pickup, or allow Mellissa to administer their shot at your residence or Mellissa's for just the breeder's discounted rate she receives for the shot itself. This ensures your puppy is safe, along with the instructions provided by Mellissa if picked up prior to two sets of shots administered at 6 and 9 weeks of age. 10 week transitions are best so your puppy learns all they can from mom. It reduces the risks of your puppy developing behavioral issues, separation anxiety and fear-based behaviors involving aggression, such as owner guarding and/or food aggression.

Deposits

Two deposits for puppies are accepted before the birth of a litter. Deposits are $300 to hold the puppy of your choice on a first come, first serve basis. We have one litter at a time in order to dedicate our full attention and socialize them well. At this time, no deposits for our current and next litter have been received. First deposit gets first pick of the litter. However, we encourage all families to wait and choose after watching them develop and grow for as long as possible, since their personalities and persona changes as they develop. No families thus far have ever been disappointed. Each family in all our three litters before this one, have been very happy with their puppy. Hurry and place your deposit now before they are  scooped up!
